Our Purpose

Our church is named after a man named John, one of Jesus’ good friends. Guided by God, John wrote a lot about love. He wrote about God’s love for all people:

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”

He also wrote about our love for each other:

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.”

Our church exists to help people begin or deepen a relationship of love with God and with each other. God fills our hearts with love through his “love letter” to us—the Bible.

Our Promise

We believe that you have a right to hear what God says about himself, not what we think about God. Our goal is to let God talk to us through his Word, the Bible.

Our promise to you is that we will teach in a way that allows the Lord to tell you what he wants you to know about him and his love for you.

Our Program

We believe that we have a great, big God who loves us dearly. So, we gladly come together to thank him for his love and to receive more love from him.

We worship the Lord each week on Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. and on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

We offer a variety of opportunities for every age group to learn more about God’s love.

  • On Sunday mornings we hold Bible classes and Sunday School.

  • During the week we offer a variety of classes at various times for adults to get to know God better.

  • We operate an elementary school from grades K4 – 8.

  • We offer childcare and before & after school care.

St. John's is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
