St. John's Lutheran School is a school of students in grades 4K-8. St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church has operated and maintained our school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin since 1856.
It is the Church together with the school and her teachers who assist the parents in their responsibility to “bring your children up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Through this three dimensional partnership the children are guided to grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. We have a highly dedicated teaching staff and a low student to teacher ratio in all of our classrooms. Beyond academics we offer numerous opportunities for extra-curricular athletic and academic activities. We are part of a conference of WELS congregations in the Milwaukee area that support continuing Christian education on the high school level at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.
Education at St. John’s is carried out in a Christian environment, eager to work with parents to accomplish twin goals for the students in our care: preparation for this life and of utmost importance, eternal life.
Please email or call our school for additional information. I am pleased to give you a tour of our campus, introduce you to our teachers, and share additional thoughts and information about our school.
In Christ in Whom I joy to serve,
Henry J. Meyer, Principal
